Tim Cook will earn 750 million

Apple Inc. CEO Tim Cook earned 650 million (about 8,500 crore Bangladeshi rupees). The team earned this money by selling about five million (5 million) shares of the company.

On August 24, 2011, Tim Cook took over from Apple’s then CEO Steve Jobs. Steam Jobs and Tim Cook are both fathers of Apple Inc. Under the deal, Cook could not sell five million shares before the age of 10.

After that 10-year period ended this year, Tim Cook sold his shares.

Apple’s share price has risen nearly 1,200 percent since Tim Cook took office. In the last three years alone, the company’s shares have risen 191.83 percent. Apple currently has a market capitalization of about 2.5 trillion dollars.

IDLC Finance, the country’s largest financial institution, has launched ‘Digital Savings Services’ for the first time.

As a result of this groundbreaking initiative of IDLC Finance, bKash customers can now avail this small monthly savings service anytime, from anywhere by following a few simple steps.

You can also deposit the savings installment from the bKash app on the scheduled date of each month and after the saving period expires, the customers will get all the money including profit in their bKash account. The new service is expected to inspire people from all walks of life to save.

It is hoped to make the savings process easier, cheaper, safer and more profitable.

Under this service, bKash customers will now be able to take direct savings plans of IDLC Finance in monthly installments of Rs.500, Rs.1,000, Rs.2,000 and Rs.3,000 starting from a minimum of two years to a maximum of four years.

The savings installment from the bKash account will be automatically credited to IDLC on the due date of each month. The customer will be notified before the due date to keep the required balance in the account.

Customers will be able to view all the necessary information ‘Live’ from the bKash app, including the total deposit amount, savings period, and profit amount. When the savings expire or mature, the entire money including the profit will go to the customer’s bKash account and if the customer wants to withdraw money at any stage of savings, he can do so through the bKash app.

In this regard, IDLC CEO and MD M Jamal Uddin said, “This joint service of IDLC Finance and bKash set an example by connecting customers through MFS services like bKash with traditional financial services sector. This availability of services like small savings will also contribute to the improvement of the living standards and economic development of the common man.

Kamal Qadir, CEO of bKash, said that bKash, which has become a part of the lives of millions of people across the country, has once again made it easier for financial institutions to access savings services by utilizing technological innovations. To further stimulate the savings trend, IDLC’s savings services have brought capacity and independence in financial management to the doorsteps of marginalized people.

To launch the savings service, customers can launch the service in a few easy steps by clicking on the ‘Savings / Savings in Banks and Financial Institutions’ icon on the home screen of the bKash app and adding their own and nominee information.

It is learned that as per the instructions of Bangladesh Bank, the profit of this savings and other regulations will be complied with and only the bKash customers registered through e-KYC can avail this savings service of IDLC. Later all the customers will come under this service.
